It’s important to interview one segment at a time. If you don’t, you’ll hear a wide range of problems and be tempted to build a mediocre solution to all of them, instead of a fantastic solution to one of them.
Once you’ve solved one segment’s problem well, you can broaden your scope and solve other segments’ problems.
Eventually you’ll serve all of your customer segments, but to get there, you have to start with one.
